Keto Bacon and Herb Stuffing To Replace Traditional Stuffing

Traditional stuffing is just delicious. But it’s also full of breadcrumbs. Never fear, you can make your own stuffing made with your own keto bread! This recipe uses the ‘Buttery Keto Rolls’ recipe above, as well as bacon, sausage, and fragrant herbs.

How to make:

  • Preheat the oven to 365 degrees Fahrenheit/180 degrees Celsius and line a baking tray with baking paper
  • Tear your 4 keto rolls into very small pieces (or blitz them in the food processor) and place onto the tray, bake for about 15 minutes or until crispy and golden
  • Drizzle the olive oil into a large frying pan or pot and place over a medium-high heat
  • Add the bacon pieces to the pot and fry for about 1 minute
  • Squeeze the sausage meat out of the sausages and into the frying pan, stir as it fries for around 1 minute
  • Add the onion, garlic, celery, parsley, rosemary, salt and pepper and stir as the veggies soften and the sausage meat cooks (break the meat up with your spoon)
  • Add the toasted breadcrumbs to the pot and stir to combine everything together
  • Cook for a further 5 minutes, stirring occasionally
  • Press the stuffing into a dish and reheat in the oven before serving

Rosemary is a very aromatic herb, a quarter of cup this fresh herb may be a lot and its flavor becomes very intense. One or two sprigs may enough 😉
