If you’re the kinda person who loves the idea of massive music festivals, but in reality you’re just as happy lounging at home with a few buddies…I can completely relate. Or, perhaps you’d love to attend but distance, time and cash restrain you. Never fear! You can get the festival vibes at home by way of food. Yes, delicious, amazing food…KETO food. Get your friends around, string some lights in the yard, blast some music, dance on the grass and prepare a feast of Coachella-inspired treats. No lines, no nasty bathrooms, no muddy shoes…

Zucchini Fries and Lemon Chili Mayo

A paper cone of hot fries and creamy sauce or dip is a crucial snack at any festival. You can’t go for the potato option, but you CAN go for the zucchini version, and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. We coat the zucchini fries in egg, ground almonds, parmesan and seasoning before frying them in rice bran oil. For a creamy, tangy, spicy addition, we mix together mayo, lemon and chili. Uhhh….yum.

Black Ice Cream

We’ve gotta have something super trendy and “wow factor” worthy on this list. I refuse to buy into the rainbow food or crazy milkshake trend, but charcoal ice cream I can get on board with. You do need activated charcoal powder for this recipe, but it’s a good ingredient to have on hand anyway, as it’s great for supporting the gut.

Slow-Cooked Shirataki Noodle “Ramen” Bowls With Mushrooms and Pork

Ramen bowls are a given at any music festival these days, and for good reason! They’re filling, tasty and highly customizable with lots of yum additions. This ramen bowl is made with shirataki noodles, also called “miracle” noodles. They’re made from the konjac yam which creates a noodle which is basically just water, fiber and barely ANY carbs or calories. It’s the perfect keto noodle for adding to our salty, tasty broth.

Chicken Satay Skewers

You can definitely find meat on a stick at most music festivals, especially if it’s deliciously charred and served with a taste-bomb sauce and a scattering of fresh herbs. These skewers string together our tender chicken pieces, slathered with salty, spicy, creamy satay sauce.

Vegetarian Nourish Bowls

Bowls filled to the brim with bright, colorful, nutritious foods, (often raw and fresh) are a music festival staple (fancier festivals, that is). They’re almost always presented beautifully and are designed to be filling, satisfying and nourishing at the same time. These bowls are vegetarian, and FULL of veggies both fresh and lightly cooked. We’ve got plenty of fats, a wee bit of protein and lots of fiber. We top it off with a generous drizzle of yogurt-lemon dressing and fresh herbs. Get creative and make the prettiest darn bowls you’ve ever made. Festival shmestival.
